Pyrantel embonate is effective against adult and larval stages of the common gut roundworms, except for whipworms, so oxantel embonate is combined with pyrantel to increase the activity against whipworms, as well as provide a greater combination effect on all other gut roundworms, including the sometimes troublesome Hookworm.

All Dogs Need Worm Treatment Regularly to effectively prevent worm infestations in breeding kennels it is important to treat pregnant and nursing bitches before whelping, and to commence a regular worm prevention program in young, growing pups from 3 months of age. It is very important to treat all dogs at once so that the risk of re-infection from untreated dogs is reduced.

Treatment:
Effective Whipworm treatment will require dosage every 6-8 weeks after 3 months of age.
Pups should be treated at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks and then every 3 months.
Treatment for Hydatid Tapeworm prevention requires dosing every 6 weeks.

Give one tablet per 10kg bodyweight.
Each tablet contains: Praziquantel 50mg, Oxantel Embonate 542mg, Pyrantel Embonate 143mg
